Senior Systems Administrator
Managed UNIX department in all aspects of operation and maintenance.
Developed technical, financial and personnel objectives for a staff of
five with an annual operating budget of $400,000.

* Supervised and maintained a 99% uptime on 22 critical servers operating
  24 hours a day.

* Developed centralized IT knowledge database of operations to insure
  continued coverage of computer systems independent of individual staff.

* Successfully project managed AS400, AIX, SMTP Lotus Notes Server,
  DNS/DHCP on NT servers, disaster recovery, site planning and Enterprise
  Back-Up project

* Led negotiations in purchase of Enterprise equipment resulting in a
  $200,000 savings.

* Re-negotiated service contract requirements to more closely meet company
  needs resulting in annual savings of $175,000.

Maintained the RS/6000s supporting the bank's Automated Clearing House system.

* Identified and designed the DNS infrastructure using the AIX platform.

* Strengthened overall security for their customer's WEB enabled account
  access.


HOME SAVINGS OF AMERICA, Irwindale, CA               1993 to 1999

Senior Systems Analyst
Part of design team that created a Client/Server Loan Approval System using
IBM RS/6000s, Informix database, and Mainframe connectivity.  This computer
infrastructure project resulted in $300M annual savings in loan processing.
