Photography Through the Digital Age, From Silver to Silicon

Jack has provided a copy of his slides. We also have an audio recording of his presentation.

For our September meeting, UUASC-OC presents Jack Denman. Jack will speak to us about the history and technology of photography, and the transition to digital photograpy in particular.

Highlights of this presentation will include:

Jack was raised and educated in Dearborn Michigan (Henry Ford country). He spent three years at Wayne State University working towards a BS in Metallurgical Engineering. After that, he spent three semesters at the University of Phoenix towards a BSIT. He has had twenty years experience working in materials science, as well as software development, engineering, embedded systems, and testing. Finally, he has eighteen years of experience as a professional photographer as an avocation while working.
