Lightning Talks
Monday, October 13, 7-9 pm
Kon has provided a copy of his Datacasting
slides.
For the month of October, we're going to try something a little
bit different.
Instead of the normal 60 to 90 minute presentation, we will have
several short topics.
According to Wikipedia, the name "lightning talk" originated at the
YAPC Perl conference and was quickly adopted by many other conferences.
There's still time to sign up to present a short (~5 minute) talk.
It's painless, and fun!
You can sign up on
the UUASC wiki.
The currently scheduled topics and intrepid volunteers are:
- bcmp

runs with scripting languages.

marketing assistant with the Ergogenesis LLC of Plano, Texas.

like closures in current versions of Java.

Company in Long Beach where he works mainly in Java.
His academic background is in formal language theory and type
