Ruth has provided a copy of her slides.
Earlier this year, we held a very popular talk on embedded Linux systems. It was so popular in fact, that we decided by overwhelming demand to stage an encore performance.
At the August meeting of UUASC-OC, our own Ruth Gu returns to treat us to part 2. In doing so, she will present how to leverage commercial development and hobby projects, and other specific topics of which are of interest to our members.
Once again, Ruth will illustrate the challenges involved in the design and development of embedded Linux applications. She will walk us through each step involved in the setting up of systems, and provide us with valuable recommendations from a variety of projects in her past.
Ruth has 15 years experience working on a plethora of projects in the electrical and computer engineering fields. She was a project lead for NextGen Video/Audio Home Entertainment System, Toshiba Studio Linux-based Printing System, Thales In-Flight-Entertainment System, and RIM BlackBerry Infrastructure Software.
