Embedded Linux

Monday, May 12, 7-9 pm

Ruth has provided a copy of her slides.

This month we will explore a topic that many Orange County members have requested for at least a decade already, as a senior project engineer has finally answered our call.

At the May meeting of UUASC-OC, our own Ruth Gu will make her UUASC speaking debut by illustrating the challenges involved in the design and development of embedded Linux applications and systems.

Ruth will walk us through each step involved in the setting up of such systems and provide us with valuable recommendations from a variety of projects in her past.

Ruth has 15 years experience working on a plethora of projects in the electrical and computer engineering fields, including as a project lead for NextGen Video/Audio Home Entertainment System, Toshiba Studio Linux-based Printing System, Thales In-Flight-Entertainment System, and RIM BlackBerry Infrastructure Software.
