Passwords

Monday, May 8, 7-9 pm

Dallas has made his slides available.

At the May meeting of UUASC-OC, our own Dallas Legan, who has presented excellent talks for us in the past, returns to cover various aspects of the history, philosophy, theory, practice, and tools of passwords and their related technologies.

This will not be definitive or exhaustive but just an overview of the subject that Dallas has researched recently, a thread connecting many areas of information technology.

Having programmed on various systems ranging from PCs to Crays, Dallas uses UNIX because they it is in harmony with the laws of logic and mathematics, he says.
